Third Times a Charm? in Current Events

My interview is tomorrow. I had to inform my supervisor that I applied for the position at a different location. She was on a conference call with the supervisor at the location I applied for and they arranged to have me do a Zoom call tomorrow. My boss was surprised to hear that the location I applied at is hiring but seemed excited for me. A few people quit on that team. I know that I am up against other candidates within that team and within that store as well as those who applied externally. I am not even stressing about the interview because I will rock it. I really don’t want to leave the team I am with but I have to do what is right for me.

This opportunity is astrologically correct. I was telling Kim at work today, she is also a Taurus rising, that we have our last hurdle with the Mercury retrograde in Taurus before things finally start looking up. On May 16th we will have both Venus and Jupiter in Taurus until Saturn comes along in October. The choices we made will be judged so make the righteous ones. My Jupiter is in the 10th house which is where my focus will be. It’s already a big focus with Pluto entering Aquarius because that is also happening in the 10 house. The 10th house is about career. I haven’t caught a break in that department yet. My Venus is in the 9th house which is about higher learning. That is when I want to be sharing my content on my socials.

I don’t want to get my hopes up because this is my third time applying for a full-time position. Third times a charm? Should I get the call and be offered the position I will enact the biggest shopping spree of my life. I can’t even wrap my head around having financial security let alone having spending money. I’ll be saving like I’ve never saved before once my shopping is over. There are things I want to fix on my car. I am ready for a new mattress and box spring. There is about $300 worth of stuff from Amazon that I want for my apartment. That will all happen before I even get my first check. I can even afford this apartment without my roommate. We were also informed that the company is letting full-timers opt to work 4 days a week instead of 5. They get to keep their full-time status and benefits. That will be perfect when I go back to evening classes in September.

Tito got an investigation started at work within our team. He has the same issues I have been waiting to talk to regional managers about but they haven’t been coming around. He reached out to the regional HR which is what I am going to do. I’m waiting until I hear about the status of my candidacy first, of course. He sent that e-mail independently from me. He told me he was going to do it not knowing that I am going to do the same. He’s a different man ever since he came back from his medical leave. I think they gave him a spine because he isn’t taking any shit. Which is good.

I told my team that I applied for full-time at a different location and they are excited about the opportunity but very sad about seeing me go. I am a big personality there and I look out for everybody and I take care of them. I don’t want to leave at all but I gotta do it if I get it.

Anyway, it was just a 5-hour shift today and I have another 5-hour shift tomorrow and then I get a 5-day weekend. Blah.
