So.... in A Day in the Life of Me

... theres always bad news with me it seems... a friend was informing us tonight, that while we can go ahead and file on our own, it may not be the best bet... we MAY need a lawyer after all.. and that's not a good thing for us... IF we file on our own, and ONE TINY thing is wrong, it gets sent back, we have to fix and resend, it AND PAY ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! CRYS She knows a lawyer that specializes in immigration, she's going to push and get us an apt for next Thursday (our next mutual day off) but there sooooo expensive, and we are about a grand short what it would cost at the moment for just the retainer.... We are going to take her advice and go see this person, but its going to be tough going as we currently don't have enough to secure them... sigh see how it goes. As she said, at the least they will be able to advise us on the best plan, and as to if D will HAVE to go home, or if we can get him able to stay here and keep working...
