What was the last food you ate?

How late did you stay up last night?
Around midnight. I was on afternoons today.

How much did your senior prom dress cost you?
Nothing. My first one was my Grandmothers mother of the bride dress (it was amazing vintage), and my second was pulled from my closet, a corset, knee high boots, fishnet, lots of black makeup.

What dreams have stuck with you since childhood?
I don’t remember any dreams from my childhood.

If you had had a baby in high school, what would you have named him or her?
Isabel, and she would have been an adopted Chinese girl, femicide was a hot topic in the 90’s.

If you had a baby now, what would you name him or her?
I wouldn’t.

Do you get motion sickness?
Sometimes. I never did until I moved to this province, it was low moderately bad a few years ago but i don’t remember the last time I felt it.

What do you hate the most about summer?
Heat. Sweating. The desire for nudity but the discomfort of my body touching itself.

Which part of your body is the most muscular?
I enjoy the definition of my shins and calves when I flex.

No

What is your favorite Japanese name?
I don’t have a lot of awareness of Japanese names, but I named my car Miyuki, and I really like it.

Yes

What was the last thing that disappointed you?
Bird Guy went and played his video games with his friends instead of chatting with me. It’s a pretty small disappointment, but it’s the most recent.

Do you like the feeling in your stomach on a big drop on a roller coaster?
Yeah I’m a big amusement park fan.

Skeletons. Scarecrows are scarier.

What computer game did you used to play all the time?
I played a ton of Super Mario 3 and Sonic the Hedgehog at my Oldest Bestests.

Jesus… too long. I read on the plane to and from Ontario in December… aside from reading coursework that is.

I honestly don’t remember. Maybe dinner in Ontario with Janeane and M?

Which app on your phone do you tend to get the most notifications from?
texts, because I have every other notification turned off.

What is something you gave up on after many failed attempts?
There are a few plants I have/am still coveting that I have killed multiple times, and I refuse to let myself spend more money on another future-dead plant.

Do you watch political shows?
I watch Last Week Tonight as much as humanly possible. I also watch The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but mostly because of The Colbert Report.

Do you like salami?
I don’t even know what kind of meat it is.

When was the last time you ate meat?
I had chicken wings the other day.

Do you know how to say I love you in at least 4 languages?
Let’s see: I Love you. Je t’aime. Ti amo. I feel like I’ll be pissed that I didn’t get the Italian one, so I guess I only know 3.
Shit, Italian and Spanish is so close, I actually knew Italian, Spanish is Te amo.

It has kept me alive, in the past.

No a fuckin chance.

With the right motivation I’m up for anything meaningful.

I honestly can’t think of one.

It’s me, I think. If not me, my sister, probably. If not her, her husband definitely.

My friend’s mom was really struggling with it when we were in our 20’s. It was hard on everyone. She’s doing much better these days.

I can’t think of any one specific thing, but pretty much everyone hurts each other by misguided good intentions.

I’ve been appreciating the 2 year fucking wait for the car I ordered, for being able to save for it, being able to afford the payments, and also adjusting to the idea of an EV/getting rid of my Fit.

Almost everything is art. I love it.

If you had to choose would you prefer dull pain for 12hours or sharp for 2?
I’m a woman, I deal with dull pain for 12 hours or more every month. I’ve seen M deal with acute pain, he loses himself so quickly, it’s terrifying.

Koala or Kangaroo?
They both kinda gross me out, so I’d have to say Koala. But I have an actual revulsion to jacked male kangaroos.

Yes

I have a little fantasy of being good enough to sing for small crowds, but I’m also not musically inclined and only sing passably.

Pilot, but I also know I’d never be able to retain everything I need to know.

Does making others happy really make you feel happy?
Generally yes. But I’m also a people pleaser.

No, because I’m not an asshole. I don’t swear at anyone except catcallers.

I didn’t like it when I met M, but we do it right, and Christmas is a great time of year for us.

I did NaNoWriMo in 2016, and wrote a novels worth of words, but they are not cohesive.

What do you have a lot of faith in?
The shittiness of people in power. Random acts of kindness between strangers.

I have a big house (well within the American average), and I have no interest in a demanding job anymore.

Have you ever been to a creepy/haunted/abandoned place? What did it look like and what were the circumstances?
Byward county jail in Ottawa. It had been turned into a hostel. There were noises we couldn’t explain.

*All over the map. My eldest friend is 60. I’m currently light on younger friends, but historically it hasn’t mattered.

When you have children, would you like twins?
I used to be that asshole who wished twins on everyone. Then my friend had twins. I’ve been apologizing ever since.

M and I have talked on a number of occasions about the uncannily high number of twins in our home town.

If you were given the choice to choose your child’s gender, would you?
I’d choose a girl because I was once a girl, so I feel like I would understand her better than if I had a boy.

What instrument would you love to learn how to play?
None. Believe me, M asks me alllll the time.

Technically my therapists are in a hospital.

I just got a bite guard last week.

I don’t have one. The ones I have to see I don’t get along with.
