Just snaffling a few seconds in Rambling sane thoughts of the terminally me

Really busy but just writing this on a break at work to let you know I'm still alive.

1) Still alive. Check

2) Still on diet. Have been complemented 4 times on my weight loss so far. Didn't even noticed I'd lost weight. Think this may be psychosomatic.

3) Had booze for the first time in a month over the weekend. Am now back off it till see I'm next with my parents which should be some point during the next month. I think this is a healthy way of handling this stuff. If I give myself special dates and just say "No drinking till then", I really don't miss it that much.

4) Off to see "Avenue Q" this evening in Sunderland. This represents my first theatre visit of the year and also my first car journey behind the wheel down the A1 stretch to sunderland. I am excited and also nervous. I consider myself a safe driver but I consider everyone else a dangerous lunatic. Guess we'll just have to be extra safe today.

5) Off to Leeds on friday for the evening for LARP related nonsensica. This is because, for the first time in ages, it looks like I won't be able to make Summerfest. I'm a little disappointed at this but it goes with the territory of the job.

6) Coming back from leeds a day before the fest ends because I've double booked the weekend and I'm doing the Woodhorn Invasion again this year. Once again I shall be donning my pinstripe suit in the name of charity and amusing small children and, occasionally, myself.

7) Still haven't heard about promotion but neither has anyone else so I'm not despondent. Yet.
