Thank you, and please be patient while I attempt some restoration in Site Updates

To all the very patient and kind people who commented on my last entry, thank you. It's nice to know that the torches and pitchforks aren't coming out yet. :)

OK, so this was kind of a crazy day. I had a wedding to go to tonight, and about an hour before going home to get ready I see that my email box is filled with Prosebox malfunction, and the Sad Panda is on full display (hey, beats obscure database error messages). And when I realized that the database was malfunctioning beyond my ability to export the latest data, I made the executive decision to get it back up and running by restoring the latest backup, so that the site would at least be running, though missing stuff from today.

And then I typed that last entry on my phone while racing out the door. Why do I have to cut these weddings so damn close?? Anyway, the point is, that if I had the time and a real keyboard, I would have also added that I'm pretty sure the old database is still intact, and nothing would make me happier than successfully pulling the entries and comments from those missing hours and filling them back in where they belong.

So please, before you start running around saying that this place is no better than some other websites, give me a chance to try to fill in that missing gap. Thanks and have a lovely evening.
