sounds of the subway in keeping it postive

I didn't ride the subway for MANY years. I much prefer the bus. But since I currently work in Brooklyn, unless I want to try various buses and various hours of travel time, I take the subway to work. You never know what you'll find:
On the way to work, a woman can onto the train with her small dog in a rolling carrier. Her small, YIPPY dog. I don't mind barking, but YIPPING hurts my ears. I was SO glad when she exited.
At the station where I got off to go to work: classical cello. The man is wearing a white jacket, white shirt, black bow tie. Ah, soothing.
On the way home, something between R&B and doo-wop - a group of singers... again, pleasant.
