A Day Wasted? in Diary

I thought I'd wasted today by doing nothing but, when I thought about it, I've done quite a bit today.

  • This morning I met my newest customer. It's the lady who I housesat/ dogsat for a few weeks ago. Her German shepherd has sadly since been PTS, but she still has her daschund and I'll also be looking after brother-in-law's seven month old plummer terrier as they're going on holiday at the same time. The booking is now confirmed and I'll be housesitting for the weekend of 18th-20th July.

  • I've been tweaking and updating my new business Facebook and Twitter pages. Please follow me if the desire takes you. I'm @petcaremichelle on Twitter and https://www.facebook.com/MichellesPetCare on Facebook :o)

  • I ordered my new laptop and printer today! I've been umming and ahhing over them for ages, then I put them in my Amazon shopping basket about a week ago and have just been looking at them. I decided just to press the 'order' button today, yay, new toys for me!

  • Me and Jay have been practicing for our next appearance at Chillifields festival. It will be our third year and we were delighted to be invited back. We'll be covering such songs as One Day Like This by Elbow, Exit Music (For a Film) by Radiohead and Waiting For The End by Linkin Park.

  • I've also done a bit of housework and spent some time chilling out; I watched the film How To Train Your Dragon and did a bit of reading, which I don't do enough of. I've just started The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared. We're going to see the film at the cinema tomorrow so maybe I should have either read the entire book first, or waited until I'd seen the film. Who knows.

So maybe not a wasted day after all, I've achieved quite a bit I think.
