It was about that time again. I am finding, that within our 14 year marriage, that we definitely have gone thru stages. And they have been so defined, in the past that I am now able to recognize when we are in one in the present. I call this one, "The one where we both are now disabled and at home with each other pretty much 24/7." And on one hand, this is great. I mean we are, after all, best friends/soulmates/inseperable lovers. Seriously, like I can't even put into words how much we love the fuck out of US. We are just, for lack of a better word I guess lol, awesome. Buuuut... then there is this ohmigahh we are together all day long every day. LOL. And we are still learning. We are still working to get past this stage gracefully, and I think we are doing an OK job at it. The first time we (or I, can't remember which now lol) decided we needed a break for a day or two from each other, it came from a hateful place full of arguing and shouting even over the details of the "break". I was only gonna stay at my Mom's for a day or two. She wanted me home after one night. But I felt that the situation called for more than that, and opted to stay two. In the end it worked like a charm, and peace was restored (along with some yummy "Oh I missed you so much, let's fuck!" makeup sex. Hehe.) to the Morgan household. And, since then, we seem to have grown. This time, we are just bickering and at each other for the smallest things. I swear it seems like she is PMSing even tho she just got off her period! And ooh is she touchy right now! LOL. Anyway, all it took was me starting a sentence with, "I think we need some time apart.." and she finished off with, "Yea, you should go stay at your Mom's for a bit." I was like, OK well that was easy! We definitely both seem to agree! lol. It didn't seem to take us as long this time either. I think we both kinda felt it right away, but let it slide just to see, and then after a week or so we were both pretty much on the same page. See? Growth. :) So I dunno how many nites I will stay this time. But, I'm here. And I already had to go back to the house one more time before being here for good so I could pick up some extra laundry, (hey, might as well kill two birds, ya know? lol) and we made out for a good while like we were ravenously hungry for one another. This doth bode well for mine future me thinks. lol. Anyway, so yea. That's the haps! Jesus did I really just say that?!
