The downside to an isolated, defensive, introverted position is that you lose out on what others have to offer. Sure you might shut out the negative or the contrary or the uncomfortable, but what do you lose?

Did you ever take a look around and think, I could help with that, but do nothing? Did you ever wonder if they were waiting on someone to reach out and help them? To show an act of kindness? To break through their walls?
