In This Shirt in Current Events

I’m a little amused that I created a bit of a frantic morning for my roommate. On top of all the ways she is dependent on me, she uses me as her alarm clock. She can’t figure out how to use her phone for that. On weekdays she sleeps with her bedroom door open a bit so that she will hear me puttering around. One time I was quiet on purpose and she was late for work. The next morning she had her bedroom door wide open instead of looking into how to set up her phone as an alarm clock. I slept in until seven today. That is my version of sleeping in. I am getting over a cold and I finally got a good night’s sleep. It has been two weeks. I heard her yell fuck and then I heard her frantically get her shit together because she had less than twenty minutes to be out of the house. I found it funny. Wake yourself up you child.

Speaking of children. I came across this gorgeous song last night. As I was listening to it I had a flood of memories from my childhood flash before my eyes. All of which came with emotions. A bone-chilling experience I love it.
