I think we just bought a house in Will Fly For Food

But we really don't know for sure yet. We made an offer, they made a counter offer. We accepted the counter offer. Then they had to give a certain amount of time (24-72 hours) to the people who had a home-sale contingency offer. They could either come up with a different way to purchase the house, sell their house, or forfeit their offer. We were told they forfeit their offer. But for some reason our realtor can't seem to get in touch with anyone at their company. What, someone dropping the ball? Big surprise in Huron. We scheduled a home inspection for next week... if it all goes through we will close sometime before August 20th.

In other news... ... ... Last Thursday for my day off I had the option of going to Wessington Springs and volunteering for the Red Cross or going to Watertown to be coolest aunt ever and hang out with Lore. I called down to Springs and they said they had enough volunteers for that day so I went to Watertown to hang out with my niece. She is the coolest 3 year old I've ever met. I took her to the zoo. We got rained out. 30% chance of rain turned into 5 hour deluge, as it does in SD. After zoo we went to Burger King for lunch. Last picture is cheeseburger mouth, sorry.
