I want to make a quick entry since I had so many comments with people telling me their back pain stories and showing me concern, I definitely appreciate it guys!! I had an xray today at Urgent Care where the Dr. said he doesn’t know why I have terrible pain but that my back is riddled with arthritis and he sees injections in my future. I am so mad at myself waiting so long to get help, I have just gotten so used to pushing through the pain everyday but now that I’ve lost a fucking job because I can’t stand up for more than just a few minutes without feeling like my legs are going to give out, I realize this is a huge problem that needs to be addressed.

So I have to get a referral sent over to a specialist by my dr and then see what they find. I hope it’s something manageable where I won’t need surgery but with the pain I’m in, I’m guessing it may be worse than what I think it could be. I’ve deal with back issues my entire life and I’m truly scared I won’t be able to work. I miss working and I just want my life back. Even though I stretch, drink a gallon of water everyday, get adjusted, do heat/ice, eat sensibly and take ibuprofen I am in so much pain that I struggle to get into a comfortable position to fall asleep or stay asleep.

I’m definitely ready to find out what’s causing this and know what the treatment plan will be. I just want to take care of it so I can work and if I can’t, I plan to file for disability. I have to have some kind of income no matter what. I have had back issues my whole life and there’s plenty of evidence of it in my medical records with my dr and the chiropractor. I have also had a couple of car accidents as well. My back is just preventing me from living a normal life and something’s gotta give.

I definitely appreciate the outpouring of concern you guys have had for me and I am so glad to be getting seen and hopefully answers soon! I’ll keep everyone updated!!
