I am extremely proud of myself.
I exercised five days this week.
It was not easy, but I feel like I have made a breakthrough exercising that many times…and not taking the easy road like walking every day!
Trust me, nothing is wrong with walking, but in order to really get my body into shape, I need to be doing all kinds of exercising if I want to get really fit and shred off these extra pounds! I love being outside and walking, but for one thing, I am in the GA…and it is too hot to walk in the GA right now. Plus, I get all kind of opportunities to walk over campus when I have to run errands to the graduate school.
As for eating, yesterday, I had half of a turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwich with kettle chips and a cup of cheddar broccoli soup. That was fun lunch. For dinner, I had steak and macaroni and cheese. I didn’t have breakfast yesterday because I just didn’t feel hungry enough to eat it.
This morning, I should have had breakfast because I was starving. I skipped it because I was in a hurry to get to the beautician’s for I was already late.
Because this is I can eat whatever I want good or bad day, I had Dairy Queen’s double cheese burger, onion rings, a soda and refill of soda…and a had a Dunkin Donut blueberry doughnut and some coffee with half and half and French vanilla creamer (which I also had coffee with the same adds).
Now, folks don’t start in on me. Like I said, this is what I want to eat day. Next week, I will strive to eat healthier six days out of the week and have a whatever I want to eat day.
But the good news is that I am not attempting to overeat a lot of bad food, either. I was doing that last year and part of this year…and before I broke through the five day of exercising…I was already work on not overeating and having bad foods.
I am taking it one day at a time.
For now, I will take what I have done.
Tomorrow, we are going to beat the feet again with Jillian…all of level ones of all JM workout DVDs I have. Those who start of slow and steady, usually, ends up winning the race.
Best, SMF
