I'm still really struggling with what to call my business! I have Safe and Hounds Midlands at the moment, as Safe and Hounds has already been taken in all of its forms, but it's too long and clunky. If I add my name to the front, it proffers more choices. I'd rather have Michelle than Shellie because it's my real name and will stop any confusion with payments, invoices etc.

I've been doing some thinking and searching and have come up with the following, what do you reckon? It's harder than you'd think this, something that says what I do but hasn't already been taken by someone else!

The sooner I can decide on a name, the sooner I can register with HMRC and become official and then start marketing and getting flyers and business cards printed up, working on SEO and other such things. Only two months until I'm live!

Are you just doing dogs or other animals as well? Because I think that would impact on your name surely?

I will be offering boarding and visits for other animals but, from my experience so far, I think the vast majority of it will be taken up by dog walking/ dog sitting.

I like Critter Care too. Thinking as a customer with a cat, I might tend to avoid you if you had the word dog in your name....

As suggested above, even though most of your work might come from dog owners you want to appeal to as many people as possible - one of the critter/creature names sounds like it would be more open to everyone rather than just dog people.
