Party Pooper in Current Events

Yesterday evening, I invited Curtis over since he was in town. I haven’t seen him since 2016. It was a mistake. I remembered last second how he used to invite other people without telling me. I hate surprises. I got it out of him that he wasn’t coming alone. He brought over an old acquaintance of mine, somebody that I was trying to keep as an old acquaintance. The last time I saw this old acquaintance was when he was making out with my crush under my own roof at my party. Let bygones be bygones. Curtis also showed up with his younger brother who is all grown up now. Also, a gangsta wannabe. Not to mention, Curtis showed up with a new name, Celine, and some pronouns that I never bothered to remember. They also showed up with hard liquor and Curtis passed out very early.

The plan was to make homemade lasagna and catch up. He’s my cousin, I should have mentioned. His plan was to party. It’s always to party. We’re old people now like calm down. This old acquaintance I speak of, I ended up visiting with him the whole time because Curtis passed out. I just wanted the night to end the moment it began. This acquaintance was acting very flirty even though he has a boyfriend. I’m not interested either way.

That’s all I want to say about this. I just want it to be the weekend already. I want to spend all of Saturday in bed.

I suspect that I am going to be given bad news about the full-time position. They are dragging it out with telling us who got it. It’s going to be absolutely fucked up if I don’t get it. There were only seven other candidates and only two of them are from my team and they were hired after me. Nobody else in the store has anything on me. Whatever. I’m just in a bad mood today. I knew I would be because I got peer pressured into doing a shot of rum. Gross. Waking up was very hard to do today.

Whatever maybe I’ll try to nap this mood off.
