Expecting in Current Events

My sister gave me some good news on the weekend. She is pregnant with her first. All of my siblings will have children now. I’m so happy for her! She’s wanted this her whole life. My brother lives in B.C and has two boys and I have only met one of them when they came to visit. I’ve Facetimed with them but it’s not the same. I do want to go visit. Maybe over the summer. I have twin sisters and a younger brother, just so we know the score.

My cough is getting better. I suspect that it has to do with the air being dry everywhere I go. It’s as though my airway is trying to lubricate itself. It hits me hardest first thing in the morning and then before bed. The duration of that has been shrinking. It doesn’t hurt or anything but it is hard to speak. I read Bev’s son some bedtime stories yesterday and it was s struggle to read through them because of my cough.

Bev’s oldest turned 11 yesterday. He invited me to join them for dinner. We also played Just Dance. Bev’s sister, her mother and her boyfriend’s parents all got together to celebrate. I’m their designated uncle who is always over so her kids always invite me to their family get-togethers. On Saturday I agreed to babysit her youngest so they can all go to the birthday boys’ final acting class where the parents are to participate.

Well, I slept in and I want to write some more to clear up my thoughts but I have to take my car to the shop.
