Do you have recurring dreams?

Yes. Such vivid and emotive recurring dreams that take a weird turn.

Dreams translated into other mediums vanish completely, never to repeat, ever again. Wish I knew this before I constructed my entire dream in Minecraft of all places. What a weird little planet we live on.

So either I translate the dreams into writing, drawing, or even share them with someone and they immediately stop recurring.

Or

I never share the dream with anyone, never write it down, and it consumes me. Like warm honey being poured all over you and it just engulfs you in a warm, sweet nectar and float away. Suddenly, inception makes sense and how people simply refuse to live in the real world and keep wanting to dwell in the dream world.

I had a recurring dream for two decades that I finally shared with someone and it was gone, forever.

I miss that dream; it was a happy dream. But not knowing what it meant and not knowing why it kept coming back was infuriating. It felt so personal, it was cozy, just about the time where autumn meets spring and greenery is starting to sweep the land and the roads don’t have that many fallen leaves no more.

Like Fox Mulder says in X-Files “dreams are answers to questions we haven’t yet figured out how to ask”

The other dream I recreated visually, and it stopped immediately as well. I shared that one with Pixie, I thought it was about her, she laughed at that notion and wished me good luck.
I lost the dream and I lost Pixie both right after.
Being awake at 4am, not because you like the peace and quiet, but because you want everything around you to be alone too.

I wonder if I started living in the woods or a hill house, I might never make it back to civilization, I would be lost in the wilderness.

I believe dreams are another language of love, with yourself, within yourself. Either you learn to speak that language and make peace with it, or like me, keep fighting it until it goes away and live with regrets.
