Austin had an EEG on Friday. Long story, short: It sucked. I don't have results from it or anything yet... assuming there were any readable results when it was all said and done!
On Saturday Abigail ran another mile run. This one was at the zoo, so we got to stroll around and see the animals afterward. It was also the Summer Solstice, which is always special to me. It's my birthday. 32.
On Thursday Austin has his MRI. A lot of thought and prep goes into a procedure like this for a child with autism and cognitive impairment. It will be a long day, but it is necessary. Once we get past this hurdle, we can continue getting our summer on.
Eric and I celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary in a few weeks, and our sweet Abby May turns 9 years old one month from tomorrow. Right smack between the two is the 4th anniversary of my mother's death. Lots to reflect upon this summer, as always.
