I found this, and thought of some of the people I read here!!! alt text

Anyway - it is now the summer - although past the Summer Solstice (boo) - and there is very little on terrestrial tv apart from sport - the World Cup soon moves into the last sixteen so there will be fewer matches - and for the last matches in the group two are shown simultaneously - just to make sure no team is aware of the result of the other match. Wimbelbum is on for a fortnight - and no doubt there will bea few pervs hoping to catch a glimpse of camel toe among the lady competitors - but not really into it. Luckily we do not have Sky tv (anti-Murdoch) so cannot see the abysmal performance of English cricketers. PM Cameron keeps banging on about 'national values' - maybe the best one is to know how to lose gracefully! Actually the Polish Foreign Minister has been shown, in a leaked document, calling Cameron a fucking idiot and poseur - to paraphrase - 'fucking' was used a lot. He was a contemporary of Cameron at Oxford - speaks excellent English, and knows how to deploy it well! He is also right, in my view - Cameron postures, but has no substance when it comes to the main issues - used to be an ad man!!!!

So - a couple more English postcards for the summer - all part of national innuendo.

You weren't thinking of me were you?

Ho Ho!
The footie is tedious to those who aren't interested in it (no escaping it when you go for a quiet drink in a pub), as well as embarrassing. England shouldn't even have bothered turning up. Mind you, there's a fair few around me who, with the backgroud of being Irish (feck you Mr C and yer 'Team GB' shoite) are watching the games for a good gloat at England's failure. I fully understand.

Dear diary... that is me almost daily it seems! And soon I'll have even more free time than before.
