Saw the eye doctor yesterday. The good news is I don't have to get new glasses! That saves me several hundred bucks. They just adjusted the frames on my regular glasses and my sun glasses so that I'm looking thru the different corrections at the right place, and viola! I can see!
The bad news is that I have this chronic dry-eye condition that cause redness, itch and burn. I've had it before and now that I think about it, it is easy to treat with a steroid medication. This tiny bottle of drops--12 days worth-- cost $85 after the insurance paid $70. Whoa!! But if it helps like it's supposed to, it's worth it. Doc says it will also help clear up the blurriness I've been seeing. I can do one drop in each eye, every six hours, but it means getting up in the middle of the night. I already notice an improvement.
The discoloration on my tummy is much better but is still draining a little. It just happens to be where waist bands rub, so I am being mindful of what clothes I wear.
My sore throat is better and my sinuses have pretty much unclogged.
All in all, it is good. I actually feel GOOD today. :)
