Our Queen in Diary

I’m not a royalist by any stretch of the imagination, but our Queen ruled for over 70 years with dignity, grace and decorum, carrying out her duties right up until two days before her death. I’m more sad than I thought I would be, she was a British institution, most people alive today can’t remember a time without her. And of course, a family is mourning the loss of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother. One member of that mourning family now has to take the crown and become King. So strange to think we now have a King, it’s going to take a bit of getting used to. RIP Queen Elizabeth II.

These are my feelings. Poor woman, poor family. I think King Charles will be a good king.

Camilla is on my fantasy dinner party list - I think she’s wonderful. The hatred she got, nd she handled it with true grace.

I am not too sure that Charles will be good enough for the people....Just look at how he treated Dianna? I would think that William would be a much better king. I feel bad that she is gone.

Shame for the family, after all, only last year they lost Prince Phillip. But she was old and unwell so hopefully they, along with her mum and dad all reunited now.
