Toasted And Roasted in Hello

Had to apply some Icy Hot to my left shoulder. Slept funny then made it worse picking up parts out of the baskets and replacing them after machining. I have to bend down around the waist and reach just about to my toes to fetch stuff when it’s getting low. So yes, I’m a bit sore.

However, I’m wrapped up in two fleece blankets so I’m nice ‘n’ toasty roasty.

My usual routine when I’m laying here ready for bed (lately anyway) is munching on a few handfuls of Cheez It crackers. Alas, I ran out last night and don’t have my salty snack right now. Boo!

I am friggin’ beat tonight. Had to fix dayshift’ s set up, again. Measurements were way out of tolerance. One tool in both X and Z that controls three depths and two bore widths. It took me a hot minute (and extreme use of the calculator/pen and paper) to get everything just right. It is rewarding when everything comes together, finally, but it is mentally draining crunching numbers when you’re in a jam. Especially when they guy who did the set up has been there 35+ years but doesn’t care anymore, just riding it out till retirement. 😡
