Almost summer …... in The odd entries from life …….

I’ve had an e-mail from ITV ‘Independent Television’ this wasn’t a personal e-mail I expect I am one among a million or two! They are offering their ‘itv-player’ series, they think I might have a problem keeping up with the World Cup live coverage and the endless soaps; thankfully I don’t a problem!

I don’t understand the entertainment in watching millionaires running around in shorts, as for soaps I haven’t watched for some decades; I doubt I will need any help to get through this time of a glut of football and soap ….

This day that has just passed by had have nearly everything to be a perfect summer’s day, a day that was dry, a sun shining from a clear sky; it was just the cold air that kept the day truly warm.
