June 12th & 13th. in June Writing Challenge

OH HAI!

yesterday i was in focus groups the entire day, and i had a few breaks while the spanish-language moderator did her groups, but we had to use my computer the entire time to show the respondents some commercials and such, so i didn't have my computer to use during those breaks so i couldn't write anything. also because i was in the back room with seven clients and it would have been weird writing with them looking over my shoulder since i was sitting in the front.

anyway, excuses, excuses. i got home at 10:30pm and started eating my cold dinner while watching so you think you can dance with aaron, and around 10:45pm our friends from MN returned from their trip to Yosemite so we stayed up way too late hearing about their adventures before i put the kabosh / kibosh on the night by reminding everyone that joaquin hasn't been sleeping in lately. sad face. tear. after a weekend of glorious sleep, he's back to his usual 6:30a antics.

i should write about my trip to sf and the highs and lows, but i gotsa to work like the dickens today, so that will have to wait.

quickly…. - i ran 4.23 miles in 40 minutes today. ok pace considering i'm EXHAUSTED. - we had a great call this morning with a new potential business client that offers solar panel installation - this is perfect timing since we are currently 'shopping' for panels - we have a fun weekend of shenanigans ahead, but hopefully there will also be pockets of relaxation in the mix - joaquin has his last day as a kangaroo today. he graduates to bumblebees starting on monday! (aww) - they're having a father's day 'hoppy hour' at his school today, but i might go spy on it and take pictures - they'll be presenting the dads with gifts they made themselves.
- it's too cute. i die.

Ok back to work i go so i can have some fun sooner vs. later.
