His Go-To Threat in Out in the Open

So C has made it clear, multiple times that he will not provide her a sibling. Then he hints that maybe he will, but then he changes his mind again just so he can tell me no again. I have had enough. I can't hear maybe again just to be followed by a no. So I told him I was moving on. I told him I would be looking for someone else.
This pissed him off. His reaction was surprising to me. But I continued to let him know that I believe Lily needs a sibling and I need to have a baby and if he's not going to be the one, then I shall find someone new.
Then he said something that really surprised me. He said that if that happens Lily should come live with him.
I was instantly angry. He won't offer his love. He won't give us a baby... but if I go out and find love on my own then he's going to try to make Lily live with him? WTF?
Absolutely not. What an incredibly selfish man. The only thing that our conversation did was make me truly understand what kind of person I am dealing with and make me want to date others. So anyway, yeah I will begin dating soon.
