Couple small, couple big. in Friends With the Benedicts

I wasn't gonna do this tonite/morning whatever, but I woke myself back up by doing things around the house getting ready for bed. Go figure.

Well, Sookie, one of our other female cats that I don't generally mention because she is more Laura's cat, was very pregnant. I did not mention this either because at this point it is just out of control and I am embarrassed She did not go outside tho, she is an inside cat. Our cat Noah is the father. Well, to make a long story short, she went into labor today. Then she stopped after only having 3 kittens at about 11:30am. When it was like 4:30pm, Laura finally successfully woke me up and I got up and started trying to figure out what to do. Ultimately I ended up going to 3 different vets, had an xray at one in which we could see that she does indeed have one baby left in her, albeit weird looking and possibly deformed. This could explain things. I ended up at the ER vet where they wanted a cool $1500 to do a C section. Wow... umm no? So yea, after paying $90 just to be seen at all, we ended up being somewhat reassured by them that she would probably make it thru the nite until we could bring her to our regular vet. In all honesty, I am exhausted. But the babies are big n fat and healthy. I don't think we've had such big babies before! I am loving it. No worries there that's for sure! Another actually good thing is they are nursing like champs and she has wonderful instincts. She is being a very good mama. So, surgery for her tomorrow, and that will probably include a spay so this doesn't happen again. There is a risk of her losing her milk, but it's not a real concern for us since we have 2 other lactating mother's all ready to go!

Speaking of ready to go - I put Kataleah's two remaining babies, both black and both boys, on Craigslist yesterday. Today we received a call from a really nice lady saying she might want both of them! She has to speak to her husband first but they just lost their two elderly cats pretty close together from eachother, so yea. Yay! I would love to give them away knowing they were going together! I hope we hear from her again soon!

My right hand is numb starting around my wrist and it feels like I have a rubber band on it and it's been there way too long. K, just wanted to share that. LOL.

So everyone seems to like the new name. Thank yall! That means a lot! I don't think I am gonna get around to writing individual notes tonite because I should be sleeping seeing as I have to get up way early, but I just want to say thank you for commenting on my name, those of you who did! :) I love yall so much!
Well, I guess I should get my ass to bed! I am so glad I am back in the writing spirit again. Feels so so good to be back! Oh, I don't think I told yall about our new (used) computer! Yea, my old best friend Colleen just messaged me outta the blue the other day and asked me if I wanted her old computer to which I said hell yea! lol. So my Mom and I went over there and got it. She also gave my Mom a printer for her camera too! And the computer wasn't just the tower, she had everything that went with it too! That was sooo awesome. And it couldn't have had better timing. We have no idea why, but our other computer has turned blue. Yep, the screen has a blue hue to it, kinda like if you used a blue fliter on a pic or something. And it's not the monitor, it's the actual computer. We have tried everything we know to fix it. We scanned with everything we have, and no virus that we can see. We are just stumped! But, we are using the new computer for now. But eventually the other one will have to be hooked up again so we can get all our stuff off of it! Oh, woe is us. LOL. OK I really do have to go now. I hope everyone is OK and I shall update on Sook Sook tomorrow! Byeeee....
