Spent all of yesterday morning, afternoon and early evening sleeping.

Nothing was laid out for dinner so mom opted for Olive Garden. I got the five cheese baked ziti and it was delicious. Just finished off the left overs an hour ago.

Within the last two weeks:
Went to the library, checked out and read Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris (really good read)

Emperor Mollusk Vs. The Sinister Brain by A. Lee Martinez (hilarious read)

The Psychology Of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas (interesting take on the time travel genre and how it deteriorates one’s mental capacity)

I literally just started Sinclair Lewis’ It Can’t Happen Here. Published in 1935, it’s about America being taken over by a fascist president whom later proclaims himself dictator. Why does that sound so familiar? He even has his own private army called the Minute Men. cough Proud Boys cough.

Today I have an interview at 9 AM.
Tomorrow I have an interview at 4 PM.
Wednesday I have an interview at 11 AM.
Thursday I go for a computer/manual dexterity test for Mazda/Toyota at 7 AM.

ONE of these has to pay off. I’m so bored out of my mind. I can’t even look at Reddit or news articles anymore ‘cause it just pisses me off so bad. Hence, I’ve been plowing through books.

The Duck Tracy episode of Daffy Duck is on. Best one, in my opinion. “Scram Sherlock! I’m working this side of the street.”

Edit: I canceled Tuesday’s interview. It’s a 54 mile round trip. If I were to get the job it’d be 270 miles on a five day work week. Not with the way gas is.

Edit-edit
Had to crank the rusty gears and crunch some numbers.
Car has a 10 gallon tank.
38 MPH highway (I’m going very liberally here)
Gas is $4 a gallon (again, very liberal with numbers)
54 mile round trip, 270 weekly.
I’d expend roughly 15 miles per gallon daily (going by highway numbers).
54 - 38 = 15
15 ÷ 270 = 18
18 × $4 = $72 weekly
$72 × 4 weeks = $288 a month.
Again, I’m being very loose with the numbers and that’d be just getting to and from work, not basic errands or food runs. I’m pretty sure I’m wrong somewhere in these equations leaving out the ten gallon tank. 🤷
It’s 8:13 AM and I’m too tired for math.
On that note time to shower and make myself pretty for my interview.
