Slow And Steady Always Wins in Help Me Please

Are you one of those who always has to be the first in line? or the first one at the red light?
I have always wondered why people are in such a hurry to go no where fast and the end result is they have to wait anyways so why? And then when you can go you always have people behind you telling you to move or are honking at you so others have to wait even longer.
Life is not worth being the first one at anything except for sports but other then that getting there safe is more important.
I would much rather take my time when I am doing something so it gets done to near perfection then to hurry through it and have to do it again. But then everything has to be done on an on going basis. Unless you are one of those types that just don’t care. I am somewhere in the middle of wanting to do whatever and not caring but it depends on what it is and how many people can see it. And even then sometimes I don’t care.

Onto something else....

When I am done this and finished reading what people have to say and writing my notes to people and then playing one or two games at face book then I will be getting dressed and walking up to the corner store to see if any of my scratch and win tickets are winners and then walking back home. This is about a total of two miles so I figure that is pretty good. And then hubby should be awake and we can figure out what to have for dinner And then it’s breakfast time for him.

Onto something else…

So far today it’s at 60 degrees so it’s going to be another hot day but it’s suppose to cool down on Tuesday and the heat wave won’t be like last year so that is something good and we have a lot of places we can go to get cooled down so that is good. But if you have a car with air conditioning you can always just sit in that till you are cooled off.
And I heard that the American electric company is asking people to conserve energy so they don’t have any issues with the grids. But then I can’t see anyone having a cold shower.
But they say hot coffee cools you down, actually anything hot will cool you down so there is another option right there.
I really don’t like this hot weather because it just makes me want to go live in a freezer for the rest of the summer just so I stay at a good temperature. But then I don’t like the really cold temperatures either. But it doesn’t matter they do come and they do go but it’s just dealing with them while they are here. And then when they do pass we forget that it even happened. Why can’t people just be compliant and accept life for what it is? Nothing seems to last for ever and change does happen but maybe not fast enough. I think there are more important things in life to complain about and the weather is not one of them.

Onto something else…

Last night we had home made hamburgers and French fries and a can of green beans so it was something easy and didn’t take much time to do and the clean up is easy.
I have found that some cheese gets really crumbly when it gets old from being in the fridge for a long while. I have decided not to get such a huge chunk like the 2 pound block of cheese that goes on sale sometimes.

Onto something else…
