Disparity in Brand New Me

I sit here quietly every day, not ever talking. Maybe THAT is why y’all feel the way you do.

“Don’t get in grown folks’ business” or being scolded when something is said wrong or not done in the way you think it should be – as I was growing up (being “raised”). Not interacting with me effectively as I grew up is why I’m like this. Only in this place. Only around you.
