Refusing. in A small but passable life.

Daughter found a new set of tires for the car I’d bought her last month. She shopped around and found a pretty good deal. A little less than $800 including all the extras. That should be a few years of not stressing about tires. I mailed her a check to cover that. The car came with a brand new battery so that’s another stress reliever. The two door lock actuator motors that needed replaced (a Honda “Thing”?) and I’d paid for (about $60 for both on amazon), she’s already replaced the one (left, rear) that refused to lock, and she’s only got the right, front, that refuses to unlock to replace. And that should be it. For a very long time, hopefully.

She sent a picture of her last sonogram. A really good image of his face. He’s 4lbs. 2ozs. now. And he’s still nameless.

Oh, the title? Yeah, I’m done with the news of the world.

Hopefully there will be a future in which assholes and intentional morons won’t be tolerated. Or will be taken out by the aliens when they arrive.

Basic situational facts:

The conservative majority on the Supreme Court were nominated by presidents who lost the popular vote when elected. And were confirmed by a Republican majority that represents only 12% of the population.

Okay, let’s understand conservative “logic”. The government shouldn’t be able to require a citizen to wear a mask during a pandemic but the government can tell a citizen what to do with her body. Yep. sounds pretty logical, eh? Fucking morons.

Let’s explore further. Conservatives have bought into the whole bogus “white replacement theory” while at the same time trying to keep anti-choice agendas that affect mainly poor minority folks. “White” folks trying to save darker skinned “babies”. And everyone knows that richer pale skinned women will always have access to choice. Fucking morons.

Anyway, as a person without a uterus, it really doesn’t concern me.

I’ve lived with women who’ve had an abortion, women who’ve adopted children out, women who’ve had kids, and women who’ve not had kids. My conclusion is that bat shit crazy doesn’t have a direct correlation to any one of those situations.

That’s just my personal opinion. I could always be wrong.
