Condom conumdrums in Adventures in paradise

The credit card is down to $200! Woohoo! Ended up getting a fairly nifty pay from last week's extra hours, although I checked my payslip only to see I've been jipped a half-hour's pay. I figured it's because the payroll officer thinks I took an hour lunch break instead of the half-hour I always do, even though I specifically write "1/2 hour lunch" on the damn adjustment form! Gah - just annoys me when people can't read. It's moreso annoying because he claims how good he is at his job and that whenever someone isn't paid correctly, it's because THEY haven't written it down correctly or scanned on or off properly. Like I said, always the "blame-game" in my workplace, no matter what department you're in haha. Anyway, I told my manager tonight and he reckons the 2IC hasn't been paid correctly the past two weeks either. Sheesh. He said he'll try and get it fixed up. I mean, sure it's only a half hour and isn't a big deal. It's more the principle that if I work that half hour, I wanna be paid that half hour :) Speaking of pay-cheques, it's pretty cool the Aussie minimum wage was raised $20 a week today for full-time workers. In the waves off all this bullshit budget talk, that's probably finally some good reprieve news for 1.5 million Australians.

Apparently we're having dinner with Carly next Thursday night at Vish's, so that should be a bit of fun. Must remember not to accept a shift that night if it's offered to me :) I'm already doing a few extra hours this week as well, so that's nice. I should hopefully, be down to a zero balance next week, and then I can re-focus on a gym membership.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my current internet (after about 4 years of being with them) and changing my phone plan over to Optus. Reason being is I pay $50 a month for my internet, and $40 a month for my phone. I can pay $60 a month for my phone credit with Optus, plus they give me 500mb per day which I can hotspot to my laptop, now that I have a decent phone, although my last phone worked alright doing that too. Vish's boyfriend is on it and he loves it. They told him at the store that he can't hotspot with it, but he tried it and of course you can. He never uses anywhere near the data limit, and if you do go over, they just charge another $2. All it means is that I can't go crazy with my downloads. At the moment I get 14gb per month internet. 500mb per day over 30 days works out at 15gb. So, if I do that, I'll end up saving myself $30 every month, or $360 a year, which would definitely help toward rejoining a gym! Worth it, right? Sometimes it's nice to use my brain.

I need to buy condoms as well. I've always had an issue with condoms, as I always have trouble getting them on lol. Store-bought ones just don't seem to do it and it actually looks funny trying to squeeze myself into one. The length isn't the issue - that's fine. The girth is. I go through so many wasted condoms (just in private practice by myself) because they just won't unroll no matter which way I try them. The rare time I have managed to get a condom on, I was so surprised I couldn't even believe it. Luckily that was when another guy was in my room with me lol. I'm going to have to go to an adult store and try and find a decent brand with a wider girth, because this is ridiculous, and it shouldn't be this hard to roll a condom over my dick. Like, really. I look like I'm strangling the poor thing using my current method lol. So all I can think of is to compare the width measurements of adult store condoms compared to the store-bought ones I usually get, and hopefully they have a wider size so I can just get on with the job without having to worry about wasting another important piece of latex.

So, shopping priorities this week are an Optus sim and decent god-damn condoms :)
