And One Cat at That in Everyday Ramblings

It is a good thing you all like flowers or you wouldn’t ever come visit my pages here during the spring. I just can’t help it. The light, the colors are irresistible.

Thank you all for your support. I am sure I will be absolutely fine once my birthday rolls around but all this stuff about where I am in my life is coming up for me and I am weary.

My heart just aches for moms with sick or disabled children and the relentless demands of taking care of them. Sammy is just a cat! And one cat at that. But his care takes focus and planning and nerves of steel some days. He threw up right next to my head on the bed at 3 AM. And then got all fussy about taking the med that makes his stomach feel better. His fluid bag is acting wonky and there are days I just want to run away.

Luckily I am listening to a very engaging Louise Penny mystery on audiobook when I am out walking/running. And I’ll be doing that in a few hours.

So I do get breaks. He has good days and is not ready to go yet.

Thank goodness for marvelous, music, food and literature, design and the wonder of electronic communication!
