Data and a toaster is still a better love story than Twilight. in Whey and Sonic Screwdrivers.

Who had petty gossiping on their Public Consciousness Bingo? Oh gawd, SHUT UP.
Makes me wonder what the next thing will be. We’ve been foreign policy experts. Medical experts. Stale cheeto stirred up so much “LOOK AT ME, MY DADDY DIDN’T HUG ME!” drama it was hard to keep up. School shootings? Climate change? Gosh, I sound like a conservative, yearning for the “good olde days” which were actually levels of shite.
Forgive me if almost nothing non-personal phases me anymore. I’ve been wise to stay off late night news to keep myself less informed. It’s been rather cleansing.
Sometimes I think it’s silly that I absorb myself in the truly trivial: Star Trek. Hey, other than lifting, it’s my only other big interest. Thing is… Living isn’t about the esoteric big things that have nothing to do with us. It’s about the little things. It’s about the small things.
Esoteric big things, I said. What a contradiction. See, this is why I’m staying away from foreign policy right now, because. To quote Donald Rumsfeld: There are known unknowns. And there are known knowns. I know I’m just some civilian in Murica, and I’m not going to play armchair general. I know there are known unknowns that will come out in some Ken Burns documentary in 20-30 years.
We’re not that important. And not everything effects us.
Didn’t I start this by saying to shut up? I should do that. ; ) (I do annoy myself.)
Squat:
1 @ 235 lbs
8, 8, 6, 6, 6 @ 175 lbs
Deadlift:
1 @ 325 lbs
RDL:
8, 8, 5 @ 225 lbs
I need to invest in straps. Because yes, Virginia, I need to get my strap on.
I’m enjoying the hell out of my minimalist approach. I can’t believe I’m RDLing two plates. I bet in a month I’ll be hitting 275 lbs for RDLs. Just a matter of grip strength.
Remember: There are flat-earthers all over the globe.
