I had another birthday almost 3 weeks ago.
My youngest has her 4th birthday one week from tomorrow. That went by quickly, my goodness.

I’ve been mostly waiting at work. I haven’t had much to do because I’m in between projects after finishing my monitoring training (I’m a Clinical Research Associate, aka a monitor. I go to places where doctors are conducting a clinical trial and help the study team with questions and make sure they’re inspection-ready in case the FDA ever shows up). I won’t get put onto a project until I’ve observed two other clinical research monitors, and it’s been challenging to get anyone to let me observe them. But, I finally managed to get someone to say yes today. One step closer to being actually doing the job I signed up for. 😎

I have been hoarding too many Lego sets and buying too many games but I’m actually playing them, at least. I got Rune Factory 5 and was playing that a bit this weekend. I wanted to get Babylon’s Fall but I’m really bummed out about how bad the reviews were. I got the new Mario Kart tracks too, and a few other games. I’m set for awhile and I will not allow myself to buy more games! 😂 I’ve sunk 93 hours into a game called House Flipper (and all the DLC) on the PC… it’s way more fun than it should be and I’m clearly super into it.

It’s going. I am always busy and I hope someday it will slow down… So it goes.
