Bullet points in 2022

Because apparently I can’t be bothered to write a proper entry, but there are things I want to record!
- Our Boxer now has a bionic leg. She had a torn cruciate and she had TTA surgery this morning. We’ll pick her up from the vet tomorrow and she’ll have to be crated for six weeks while she heals. I hope they give us copious amounts of sedatives.
- My son is loving his Robotics team but it’s hell as a parent. The tournaments are all at least an hour away and while the kids are busy between matches it’s pretty boring for parents. I read an entire book last week and then had to socialize with another mom, who seems nice but I hate making small talk with near strangers…
- My birthday was Monday and I celebrated by getting my left daith pierced on Tuesday (piercing place is closed on Mondays). I did the right one on my birthday about six years ago (maybe five? can’t remember for sure, but we were in Arizona). It looks nice but it bled SO MUCH that first day!

I guess that’s about it! Work is good, life in general is good, I’m in utter denial about things like new Covid variants and potential nuclear war…so, you know, the normal stuff.
