Not terribly bad in Boredoms

Beware, any regular readers, for this one isn't a mad rant about anything. Instead I had a nice night last night.
I started out bleh enough with work. I don't normally work Fridays but since it was the Mario Kart 8 release (want!) they had us do special calls. It wasn't too bad a day but I was just feeling particularly ugh that day. Didn't have much desire for humans. I was supposed to go to a MK8 party a friend of Jackie's was throwing but it was going to have strange people in it and I wasn't feeling in a good state of mind to meet new people..not that I ever am, really. I felt bad cancelling because I like hanging out with Jackie.
But I also couldn't enjoy a quiet decompression evening in my room because Chris was having dudes over for Hockey and I just can't handle that degree of mantosterone. Fortunately, Justin and Alonna had attempted to get a game night going which nobody could come to so they were happy enough to have me drop by for games. That was a fun evening. We played Eco Fluxx, Monster Fluxx, Sour Apples to Apples, Big Picture Apples to Apples, Settlers of Catan, Poo, Dead Panic, Story Wars and Grave Robbers from Outer Space. The only one I won was Big Picture. If you haven't played that version it's the same idea just with pictures instead of words. During one of my turns I had "squeaky" as an adjective and, as I flipped the cards the others had chosen I hit this one:
I was so taken aback by it I couldn't stop laughing for a good while. Laughed so hard I cried, not something that has happened in recent memory. I did pretty poorly in most of the games but I won that one. Also, Dead Panic is a co-op game and we beat it (for the first time since I've owned it!) so that counts, too.
Mostly, I was just happy to finally get someone to play Story Wars! It's a fun game but nobody seems to care for the premise. Basically, you just argue that a fictional character you have would win in a fight against a different player's. There's a judge, too, who has final say. They really enjoyed it so I hope they'll want to play it again. So yeah, good times.
