Shaving... in blackpropaganda

No, this is not about the perennial issue of hair on ladybits - although according to a magazine i read last Sunday hair is back both underarm and between the legs I guess this is the usual stuff in newspaper offices - hey, what shall I write about now, and someone says, what about your pubic hair? - and there is 1000 words it it.
This is about me, and the problem of razors. I have always wet shaved - it is a way of waking up in the morning and cleans the face. I have been through a range of razors in my time - but now getting a razor is like getting a printer.
You buy this super-duper, all action razor which moistens as it shaves, and has three parallel cutters on each blade, for half-price - and you get one blade with it.
Then once that finishes working you look for new blades - and they are very dear. OK, they last for a long time - but then you find you do not remember what kind of razor you have. Is it 'Proglide'? It certainly is not 'Proglide Power' which has a battery in it - A BATTERY - in a wet shave razor? What is this all about - does it help your hand go up and down?
So I have yet to but some more blades - I think in the end I might as well buy a new razor each time I need new blades!
And we are having great weather!!!! Summer has come - for today.

Don't know how it applies to non-jaw-shaped contexts, but I've been using the old-style double-edged safety razors for the last decade or so and I'm unlikely to switch away. Only a single blade, but the shave is still smooth, and blades are something like 15 dollars per hundred on amazon.
Just wandering by.

Because of the cost and the confusion, I know several men who have gone back to the old-fashioned (safety) razors where you insert the bare blade yourself, brush and soap-bowl. The price of those fancy new multi-blade things is astonishing!
