Happy Heart Day in Help Me Please

I hope you all have a great day today and spend the day loving each other more then ever.
Back when my son was small I knew that today was just another day because my ex was just so cheap and really didn’t love me that much. But today I am much happier and more grounded and with someone who really does love me and I love him more then the air I breath. And this is 14 years we have celebrated this day and every year we have gone out for dinner to celebrate our love. But today we will be ordering in because of the restrictions for Covid which is just as good.
it’s not the gifts or the going out or anything like that today is just a day to reflect on the love you have for each other and the family you have created. And to remember just how much you love each other.

Onto something else…

Someone told me that they are not looking for someone like me. This is after they said they don’t wash their hair and so far it’s been a month. I told them that it’s gross and they look like a grease ball and how can they not wash their hair when they have a shower everyday? I just don’t get that. Then I started to think about the “someone like you” and thought well someone like me is actually in a long term relationship and is very happy so being like me is wrong? And here is this person with no relationship to speak of and living alone? Why is that? But the truth is that if you don’t get out in the world and meet people then you will never find the one.
I knew the day I met hubby was the day we were going to be together forever and so far it’s going to be 14 years and still going strong. But then we also have a good understanding of what we like and don’t like so that always makes life that much better.

Onto something else....

So how was the super bowl for you all? Did your team win? Did you watch the half time show? Was it what they said it was going to be? I don’t like that kind of music so I didn’t watch it. So now there is no football to watch so now we all have to watch hockey and then there is basketball and baseball so there will be lots of sports to watch and we shouldn’t get too bored. But after the Stanly Cup I don’t watch any more sports till the football season starts again. But there is always that mindless TV that entertains me and I don’t get too bored doing nothing.

Dinner last night was really good. We had a nice roast and baked potatoes and steamed carrots and it all was perfectly done. And tonight hubby is going to order in Pizza and whatever I want so there will be no mess and no dishes to speak of.

Well today I should get some laundry done and the regular before work stuff done also so do have a great day…
