oops invites, oh well they still look good, I swear in Second 1st

I’ve spent way too much time playing video games the last couple of days.... it’s fine. It’s been pretty fun bragging about caught pokemon with Rocky and he seems to like it lol.

Attempted that Dutch Brother’s visit Monday and put it off to “another day” when we’d seen the line. Managed to get some before groceries yesterday. They have a Creme de menthe and white chocolate shake that’s a lot like the fave coffee I get on our trip back from Nashville when we have to go. I’m going to start opting for the coffee free one.... except today?....

Today is the first time I will meet the Neurologist in person. Because of the whole COVID thing I’ve always opted for telehealth appointments. Not that it’s anywhere close to over I just think it’s important.... especially after 3 major incidents… that she see me physically. I’m sure she can flash lights in my eyes and ears a lot better.... and watch me walk.... just feels like a good idea.

I’ve signed into the visit via the health app thing so I won’t have to do paperwork when we get there. Appointments at 11:00 asked to arrive 10:45.... Rocky said to get him up at 7..... I have no idea what he’s wanting to do before the visit but I’m cool with playing on my phone.... or maybe I’ll take my Switch?

Finally got to talk with Destiny’s brides maid a few days ago. Honestly, that has been a point of annoyance since it was announced. WE need to get together and plan the bachelorette shindigs.... and even though I’ve added 2 profiles for this woman and she’s been given my number twice.... I had not heard from her. I messaged her real early Saturday with a few questions so that I could get invitation ordered for the bridal shower. There are a few points that Destiny and Bride’s maid do not agree on. So I thought I’d just make the invitations and order them without getting it approved after asking all my questions.

If you were going to an outdoor shindig in MAY wouldn’t you want to know it was outdoors?.... so a like reads “Given with love by her brides maids, outdoors, weather permitting.” I would want to know but Brides maid thinks it should be stated. ..... then there is the matter of Destiny wanting to ask for lingerie without asking directly and looking like .... looking selfish. I think asking for gifts is.... stupid. If someone has it in the budget they will if they don’t then who are you to say something as egotistical as to say you wouldn’t want them there if they didn’t bring a gift. .... which in the beginning was an actual thought she shared lol. I put as the last line “Gifts will be opened in private. Bra size 36B and size Medium.” I don’t think I could have said it more clear. This again would not be okay with BM..... Lastly, Destiny has been married before .... so I checked her FB page to verify the last name I should use. It turned out to be a bad choice but honestly most of the folks she’s invited know her on FB so they can figure it out. Apparently, I thought she’d had her name changed back when she got her divorce finalized.... but the lawyer “forgot” to add that so she still has her ex husband’s last name. However, she has her FB with her maiden..... shrugs that’s really the only downside of not having it approved.

I ordered 35 invitations. She’d given me a list of 25 names and addresses already..... AND my dumbass.... I hate, absolutely hate, that this woman has known me most of my life.... seriously ya’ll, we met when we were 11 and we are 40 now.... I hate that she still doesn’t get that I give myself space in everything.... err on the side of caution.... so what does she do? Sends me another 8 names and addresses in the following 24 hours. Now I only have 2 perfectly fitting envelopes I can accidently screw up. sigh

Either way that’s done enough to say it’s done.... they should be here by the end of the month and then I’ll get them out the first week of Feb. .... for a bridal shower in MAY....

BM asked that I help figure out some games to play and I googled it and C&Ped 3 into our conversation that looked simple and cheap to pull off. She’d mentioned not having time to cook and honestly I think she should cater.... but as far as she knows I have no income, Destiny told her I wasn’t working. So logically she thinks she’s got to do it all on her own. I asked her about monetary needs and she said she didn’t know yet..... THE SOONER I KNOW THE EASIER IT WILL BE. smh omg I hate people. I guess I’m going to plan it like I’ll be paying 1/2 catering for BBQ? and look at some local prices for there. I won’t even be at this thing so honestly I’ve done way more than I need to.

I will be at another party type thing the week before the wedding. Much more of a bachelorette party. There will be 2 portions. First part will start at an arcade place, family oriented so the girls can have some fun too. Depending on how many will be at that will determine the price of the karaoke room I intend to pay for. I’m considering getting invitations for that too. If for no other reason than to send Gabby and Alyssa their own special/professional invites as they aren’t technically invited to the Bridal Shower (though they will be there because it’s at their house). I’ll have to discuss with Destiny soon about who all is going to be there. Also, the adult portion, where we do a tad bit o bar hopping..... I think. Pretty much it’s been decided to be the Saturday before so Rocky will miss it :( but it should be fun anyway.

I’ll discuss with Rocky today about when he wants to go talk to the folks about the shed. I get more and more nervous every time I pay for something more than $50. I know that as long as the money is there we will spend it. Hopefully, he will see it the same way and we will have that rectified before long.
