No matter how your journey for a better life and to be the healthiest you have ever been needs work. A lot of work and you can not stop after a short time because you think you look great. But the truth is you are not all that great till your BMI is under 25 and then that is when you can start to maintain what you have been doing. I know for me the hard work I have done so far isn’t good enough but in about 15 pounds I will be then the real work will start.
I know so many people who want to get to a particular weight so they think they look good. Well the fact is until a doctor tells you you look good and you don’t need to lose weight then that is when you can maintain and move more.

Someone told me that they are going to be going to some place to meet this person and they want to loose weight till they think they look good naked. The one thing I was thinking that it’s fine to loose the weight but this person will never look the way they think they should. There are too many factors involved and they are only doing a few of them and probably not the most important ones.
I do know that not eating something is not good for you except for sugar and salt unless a qualified doctor tells you different and the only one of the two they might tell you to have more of is salt.
The thing I don’t understand and probably never will is why people give up the foods they like? Is there really anything wrong with fat and carbs? if you exercise and drink lots of water and do 10,000 steps a day then your weight will be maintained. And for those simple carbs why not in moderation? have one potatoes or 1/2 of white rice or even a slice of white bread there is nothing wrong with that. There are somethings I won’t eat but then my body really doesn’t need them because I substitute them for something else and I still satisfy my cravings and I feel much better in the long run.
Do you know how to measure your food with out actually using scales or measuring utensils? If you can do that then you are off to a good start. And if you are a volume eater like I am then you need to choose the foods that fill you up less like salads and frit and proteins.
But then to be a picky eater can be very problematic because then you are missing out on the benefits of these foods.
Onto something else....
The few things I have noticed about myself since I have lost all this weight is that I have more energy and I have that bounce in my step and my clothes actually fit me and nothing hangs down or hangs out. And even my shoes feel a lot thinner. And I have also noticed that my face got a bit longer and my hand are also thinner
And when I do get dressed I feel much better about myself and people don’t really stare at me because I am as fat or fatter then they are and the ones who are the perfect weight for themselves just look at me and go about their way.
It’s funny how we all judge others and then we wonder why we get so depressed about ourselves and that is because we give up too easily and we just get tired of the working so hard or maybe it’s spending that money at the gym?
Onto something else....
All I do know as a fact that being the perfect size is a lifetime of work and you can never give up and stop. And the worst thing to do to yourself is have that yo yo syndrome thing because that really wreaks your body and your heart. And it’s also a great way to get diabetes.
Anyways I am very happy with what I have done so far but I am far from finished and my journey will continue.
I need to stop here.....
