He Is Gone And Left in Help Me Please

My son left last night and it’s so quiet here. I don’t hear him sleeping or snoring and I miss that. The most I will miss is not seeing him when he wakes up or when he talks to me. But it was nice and it’s time to get back to life as it once was and back to the old routine.
Poor hubby has to go to work and it looks like the streets will be not fun to walk on and hopefully all the modes of transportation will run properly and there won’t be any delays. But hubby will be layering his clothes so he should be warm enough. But he only has to work today and tomorrow and then he gets about a week off for holidays so maybe by the time he does go back to work the snow will be gone.
But it is -13 or 8.6 depending on how you want to look at it. And I am not sure if there is black ice or not but hopefully it will warm up and rain so I can put salt down and then there won’t be any hazards.
I told hubby to get some boots but he hasn’t and now they are all probably all gone so next year I will just get them for him as a gift sometime. And also some gloves. Unless I can find the ones he already has.

Onto something else....

This Omicron Is sky rocketing and more then 1713 cases here in B.C. and this is just since the last three or so days and this new variant is something like 70% more spreadable so it’s even more important for everyone to be vaccinated and to get the booster when their 6 months is up. And I also think there will be an on going booster like the flu shot every year. This Covid is not going to go away unless everyone in the world who can get vaccinated does.
I have a cousin in the USA somewhere and she told me that because she got the Covid her doctor told her she will have the ante bodies for a year. I told her that is not true and her doctor is wrong and she should have been smart enough to look at the information about that and get a second thought from another doctor. So she didn’t have her brothers come for the holidays because she wasn’t vaccinated. She will be finding that she won’t be able to do a lot with others because of her choice. And there will be a lot of places she won’t be able to go to because she can’t prove her vaccination status. Oh well too bad for her.

Onto something else....

I think tonight’s dinner will be chicken and broccoli and some sort of noodle’s something nice and simple.
And of course the domestic work I need to get done like do the dishes and do some laundry and watch the snow slowly disappear. Other then that it will be a very quiet day and not much else will be happening.
So I will stop here....
