OOPS!! in A Day in the Life of Me

Soooo..... I hadn’t realized how long it had been.. spent some time Thursday catching up on your entries, and finished up tonight, and then replied to comments left on mine.

I was CRAZY busy working shows for M after the last entry, pretty much every weekend up until the 12/13th of December, and when I wasn’t at a show, I was at home stitching like mad to get stuff done for a table of my own at the show that last weekend (as well as partially taking care of her table).
It was a good weekend for me sales wise :)

Made it home for the holidays! Was serious touch and go, ride was almost a no go, (exposure)
shuttle(s) that we discovered that actually run down home, one wasn’t running Friday, and the other wasn’t running today, when I needed to have D back in time for work tomorrow.

Ride actually managed to pull through though, at about 6pm Thursday night, she called and explained everything that had it all no-or-go. After I had mild breakdowns through out the afternoon, and admitted defeat, that we weren’t going home, we landed at home around 11.
I actually had mom fooled.
i told her I had a last minute parcel delivery that was in the works to deliver her gifts from us to her xmas eve day.
SHE ACTUALLY BOUGHT IT!!
She was at the sink when I ran in the house yelling “PARCEL DELIVERY! “
She had actually been trying to wrap some things up to send BACK to the city for us, hoping that they would deliver back to me lol.
She had sent me money again to do shopping for me and D incase shit went to hell, so between that, and baking/basket items for her and other family and friends there, we had the back of that car FULL.
Coming home was a bit lighter, but I still ended up leaving with more stuff then just the gifts. lol
I also took her my old laptop after I wiped it clean and installed a bunch of puzzle games she likes.
She woke up xmas morning not feeling well (vertigo spell) so we took it easy, after gifts and brunch, and then getting the turkey on, D and I took ourselves down to the back shore to watch the surf, and bottle hunt for mom. Filled a medium trash bag, and ended up finding a fishing crate in ok shape, so threw the bag into that, and other bottles we found, and lugged that home between us.
after supper, Mom wanted me to show her how to use her new toy lol
we were up until about 1am playing one of her games, then i get up this morning, and she had finished it and started a new one all by herself lol
She’s currently playing on it now too lol.
Good way for her to get used to a computer, someday when she decides/can afford net, we might upgrade her to a desk top, so that we can get her a bigger monitor.

Ride back showed up at 130, and we hit the road around 2. was home around 530, after a gas/tims/a&w food stop.

All in all was a good holiday with Mom. Wish she had been feeling better, but was actually glad I was there to help her through it.
She msg’d to let me know she took a nap after we left, and had supper and was feeling better tonight.

Got some really neat stuff this year, mom got my a huge lumbar pillow with a wolf on it and some of my favorite holiday candies (satin mix chicken bones), not to mention all the stuff i picked out for myself doing her shopping (collapsible shopping basket- cooler then it sounds i swear! A heating pad, cause ugh my back at THAT time - a new travel mug cause my old ones lid has given up the ghost, and I can’t find a replacement anymore. ) Plus all the stuff I got for her for D as well (Clothes he needed/wanted - his work gift cards - coffee shop gift cards - replacement joystick for his system)
D got my a flash for my camera!! There was a couple cool accessories with at, and a new SD card too,
I also got a couple books that asked for from D, (The Witches Heart & Clandlands Almanac)

My friend who does the clay jeweler made me a BEAUTIFUL pagan pendant, has a stag head, beneath the moon phases, she made me open it before D was even up, she was to impatient, she had been waiting all week for me to open it cause she had dropped it off Monday, with the other crap load of stuff that I actually bought from her for xmas gifts and for myself lol.

Nads got me some beeswax wraps, so now i can actually give those a try!

feel like im just going on and on, but hell i haven’t been on here in so long.. lol
I’m sure there’s stuff I’ve forgotten… lol
