Christmas Tree Nightlight in Hello

It’s 7:08 AM. Plugged in the tree a few minutes ago. Scrubs marathon is on. J.D.’s last day episode. Tis a good one.

We never went to the parade last night. I got bit by the insomnia bug (yet freakin’ again) so I finally fell asleep somewhere after 10 AM and only for a few hours. Mom and I went to Bridgestreet for a late lunch/early dinner and Christmas shopping. We ate at Connor’s (high end steakhouse) and I ate THE BEST god damn ribeye I EVER had the pleasure of sinking my teeth into. Our server was cute and of course I chatted her up. Mom got a gift card there for my cousin and aunt.

From there she went to Belk and got another gift card for…uh…other family(?) then we headed home. That drive was bad. I was SO tired and barely able to keep my eyes open. I crashed hard for close to five hours when we got back. Didn’t even bother taking my shoes off or getting a blanket. Anyways, gamed a bit, ate left overs and crashed again. Woke up at 5:30-ish and wide awake since. Bah!

So…as I said earlier, plugged in the tree as a nightlight, popped two melatonin and oven cooked a corndog wrapped in a slice of American cheese. I know, breakfast of champions. (It was actually really good with mustard.) Have had a damn headache since I awoke. Guess I’m gonna put the phone down and try to sleep. My left eye twitch has come back due to my lack of rest lately. It’s really annoying.
