The End in Thoughts On...

Revolution So the Revolution series finale was last night and it sucked. It definitely didn’t read as a series finale, but what were they supposed to do? The cancellation came way too late for them to wrap up anything. In the end, Monroe sort of has his republic back; Miles & Charlie are going to be soldiers I guess. Connor jumped ship after Bass chose Miles over him…essentially. Neville, Ed & the President are all headed to the “Wasteland” or as we know it now, Idaho, so same thing, because they are infected with the Nano. Priscilla and Aaron are going to live happily ever after…maybe.

The problem was they had way too many stories going on at the beginning and everyone was bored. Then things started to get sort of interesting and then everything was about revenge and this stupid nano shit. It was as if what happened last year really had no effect on what happened this year.

And where the hell did they get all the bullets this year? Remember last year when guns were scarce and bullets were even scarcer? Yet this year everyone and their brother had automatic weapons and an endless Rambo supply of bullets.

L&O: SVU Another one gets saved. I hate when writers keep saving fuckups. Amarro has been arrested how many times now? His IAB file has to be the size of a Harry Potter book, so how does he keep getting a reprieve? Rollins is that convincing that she gets creeper David Rosin to back off and claim that he swung first? Really, there were how many children on that playground? And Olivia finally gets her baby and her command back. How is that going to work when she was chugging down bottles of wine merely two months ago when she was in command and the workload was overwhelming? And where is Brian? Don’t they live together anymore? I didn’t think they broke up, but he has not been around at all. I know Dean Winters got a new show, but still. And can the NYPD really force you into retirement? Is that not age discrimination? Couldn’t Munch have taken command? Also, if Gotham isn’t picked up does that mean that Murphy can come back and take over again? Because that would be awesome. I love Donal Logue.

It was nice to see Peter Herman make an appearance. I think in the final season Olivia and him should totally hook up. And in case you didn’t know, Peter & Mariska are married to each other in the real world.

Modern Family It was like a Three Stooges marriage. I didn’t enjoy it at all. There was nothing that was funny, it was just sort of slapstick that didn’t really slap or stick.

Going back in time…

Arrow Good god now Laurel is going to be Canary and so they are going to have to do all these training montages with her and Oliver. Also, more flashbacks are ahead. I seriously thought we were going to be done with that. Oddly enough, I think having Merlyn around and with Thea is going to be entertaining. And I guess Diggle is going to be a daddy? I must have missed that storyline somewhere when I was only half watching this season two slumber.

Since what’s her name is dead and Slade is in a literal hole, can’t Oliver get his money back? He employs a master hacker afterall.

And Lance finally gets to be a detective again, just like that, then has a heart attack after putting his daughter on the assassin boat. They won’t kill Papa Lance just like that. He still doesn’t know that Olli is Arrow. He should, but he doesn’t.

Castle Don’t worry, they don’t kill the title character

Bones Why? Why do they do this serial killer arc shit where everyone thinks it is over, but it’s not? I hate that show for doing this. Also, they are going to do another “time jump” when the series returns. And it returns at on a different day. Musical time slots. Also, didn’t the FBI director say that Booth was arrested because he killed FBI agents who were there to serve papers? So, um why were they in special ops attire and carrying automatic weapons? Didn’t anyone in the neighborhood hear what was going on and call the local cops? Did the Feds get to them and swear them to secrecy? Did the crime scene get cleaned up and the “agents” clothes got changed? There should be plenty of evidence that there was a hail of holy hell bullets. Also, we all know the FBI director is totally involved and set Booth up right? I mean that is how the formula works after all.

I am happy the season is over. I was getting pretty bored with things. I feel a sense of freedom coming this summer. Looking forward to having some me time and reading! Maybe I will be able to catch a movie here and there.
