What was a difficult decision you once had to make? What did you consider when deciding?

Leaving my ex-company. I had some savings, but I just couldn’t work no more. I was drained, burnt out, completely exhausted and I just wanted to do nothing. Absolutely nothing.
And I did that.
Quit a job I needed because my mental health and happiness was priority.
Sat on my ass at home for four months, did absolutely nothing. Went to gym in the morning. Played video games and read books rest of the day. Went to see movies, caught up with friends, learned to cook new dishes. Watched so many movies and discovered so much new music.
Not having your phone ring 100 times a day, 50 emails, 100 different people to deal with was such a blessing.

I’m grateful that I had the money to sustain and entertain my ass for so long.
Those four months were absolute bliss.

Then I got a call from an former colleague who wanted me to come join in his company. I went in for an interview and well, been here since.

If my new financial ventures get stable in say, the next 6 months or so, I’d do it again.

I’m gonna go off the grid for a few months.
