Not too bad so far in A mish mash of entries

Having the girlfriend stay is actually no problem ... so far. 'So far' because son has had last week and this week off work so none of the entertaining and keeping her company has fallen onto me.

They have played domestics and done a fair bit of cooking - and that is brilliant because I'm coming home from work to find dinner being cooked for me. Girlfriend is a pretty good cook and apart from very generous use of butter in cooking (totally against the Slimming World ethos that I'm struggling to follow) she makes the meals from all fresh ingredients and it all ends up really tasty.

Son returns to work next week, so that will be the real test, because I don't have time off either. We've given her a key so she can go out and about if she wants to, but it's not particularly exciting around here. She goes back to America on 12th June and the week after that I'm off to Canada to see daughter and the best baby in the world (who is now a fully fledged toddler and can say "car").
