Too Hot Too Cold in Help Me Please

When was the last time you took a sip of your coffee and you forgot just how hot it really is? No matter how badly you want to drink it you have to wait till it cools a bit so you can drink it. But there is really no way to control the water temperature for a kettle or for a drip coffee machine and even a microwave temperature. Every time I know my coffee or tea is too hot to drink I am reminded of that lady who burned herself because her coffee was too hot.
So how long do you have to wait before it’s the perfect temperature to drink. And how cold is too cold that you have to wait to drink it? There must be something really wrong with me because I use to like things hot and cold but now I need them to be on the warm side. I think it’s me getting old and changing and I don’t like that.
And even the temperatures outside I only like the Spring weather because it’s never too hot or too cold even in the early mornings. Why is it it always seems too hot or too cold as the seasons change? You would think they would change on the day they are suppose to not weeks before.

Onto something else.....
Today would have been my grandmas birthday and she would be about 100. I can’t believe it’s been this long and I do miss her. And I am always thinking about her but the one thing I don’t like is that I can’t phone her or really talk to her and ask her questions like I use to. And I also miss the visits I use to have done. Although near the end there really wasn’t much happening because she moved to a care hospital and she died there. I remember she wasn’t there very long and I was so sad when she did die because I wasn’t there. but then not many were there just my parents.
And some years before my grandma my other grandma died and I hadn’t seen her for more then a year. I did try to call her as often as I could but she never did talk to me and always told me she would phone back but never did. But then when she was in the hospital I never did go see her either and I was really mad at myself and for a lot of year just told myself I was a horrible grand daughter. The only one I went to see when they were in the hospital was my grandfather and went to see him often but I wasn’t there when he actually died.
Not having grandparents is really weird because now you have to depend on the parents for the family history and all the stories that happened in the family. but the sad thing is if more then half of the family had died before you were ever born there is not much to tell because all you know is they died. I have thought about doing those family blood lines but the money seems to be such a waste for something that may or may not be known and I don’t think I can go back more then 4 generations which isn’t much. I do know that most of my family came from Russia and a lot of them were killed for no reason. But in communists countries they always killed people for no good reason.

Onto something else…

Here is a question for you? Why does it take so long for people to actually listen to the health experts when they tell you you need those medication or a medical aid? What is it we have to think about? We have already been told we need it to have a better life but yet we still have to think about it? Why wouldn’t we do what we are told just so we can live that much longer? And don’t tell me that it’s the money because money always overrides the living of people. And there is always a way to get the money even if it means looking for better medical coverage and there are always special circumstances that medical insurance will okay for you and you can also even pay in instalments.
The one thing I just don’t understand is why the American people don’t have the same medical coverage and why every year they have to phone their companies to ask if they can have something better? Why don’t they have what they need and want right from the get go? Why is it all these benefits are not part of the package when you first get your insurance? or does it go by age and the younger you are the less you need? I just don’t get it. But then Canada we get everything we want and need the day we are born and our coverage doesn’t change much and we get all the basics which is good so we never have to worry if the doctor we are going to see won’t take our insurance. By law they have to it’s the dentists that can pick and choose who they see and is dependent on the insurance you have but they do take most. And even if you don’t have insurance the doctor will see you but then you have to pay something like $75.00 just to walk into the office and some more money if he talks to you and even more if you need a prescription.
And I do know without insurance you pay $700.00 to go to the emergency at a hospital plus even more for the treatment a doctor does.

The day my son was born there were two things I did right away. I filled out the form and wrote a check for his birth certificate and got him his medical. And then everything else came after he and I were at home.

So what is for dinner at your house tonight? Got any room for me? I will being desert.
I am thinking tonight hubby and I will be having either pork chops or chicken or maybe even fist now that I am thinking about it.
Last night I made hotdogs and roasted potatoes and carrots and it was actually pretty good. I kid of felt like I was 5 again. I like simple meals like that because they always bring you back to a time where there is no care in the world and you are just happy.

Well I need to stop here my brain has nothing in it and I do have other things to do.
