Insurance and general plans in Second 1st

Good morning. I thought I wasn’t going to have time to keep up with entries over the weekend but I managed so there won’t be 8 entries today.

Weekend went well… didn’t have trouble till late in the day each day so that’s good.... however.... yesterday I fell. Not fall like hit the floor but fall like lost balance majorly and needed to grab something .... luckily I was able to. I think I pulled a muscle in my neck but I didn’t really hurt myself..... I didn’t tell anyone.... not sure I’ll tell Rocky.

We will call the insurance company today about the denial for the mouth piece .... then we will sit down and look at insurance option as it is apparently open enrollment time for both of us and mine is active this year. It usually passive for me because “if you don’t plan on making changes” then you don’t need to do anything. However, this year they have dropped a major hospital system and changed Network types.... so we have to look over that and compare it to what Rocky’s being offered.... and decide who’s going to pay for it this time around. Nice to think that.... who’s insurance is better.... not I’ll cover it because you aren’t working.... or… we aren’t offered it at all.... but it’s going to be boring and annoying.

I also have to call ADP as they handle my paystubs and I can’t seem to log in anywhere but my old phone. I will have to log on there to select my insurance stuff so I’ve got to get that straightened out this week to do that.

Then.... today’s the day.... appointment in 3 hours to test my hearing and see if I am a candidate for any hearing assistance. I have a hearing aid.... that I can’t use because it does nothing for me.... When Rocky gets up in about 30 mins (so he said) I’ll go dig that out of the bedroom and give it some charge before taking it with me to the appointment. I’d like to verify that insurance paid that and possibly find out if it would be able to be used in a CROS system or if they know of someone in NEED without means ..... I remember when I was young and my mom had to beg her father for money to get my sister a hearing aid because we didn’t have insurance. That shouldn’t be a reason to go without.

I’m doing my nails this morning in the last Halloween design I picked up.... some glow in the dark skulls.... then on to basics… dishes, laundry.... the payment of 211.26 has been initialized from MTurk.... so my new goals have started. It’s going to be a kind of busy day so we’ll see how far I get. I’ve got a package to go out.... I’ve got to write a letter to the Dr. about renewing FMLA.... Should do that when I’m done here.... after I finish my nails. I’m hopeful we will go get groceries after the hearing appointment.... we didn’t pull anything to defrost to cook tonight.... think we will do pizza and get some unfrozen things for the rest of the week.....

Feeling pretty optimistic this morning.
