Happy Halloween in Help Me Please

The older I get the less I care about a lot of so called holidays because of all the hype the stores make of it. Like Halloween decorations have already been up since September and the stores have been selling Halloween stuff since then also. Question? why would anyone in their right mind be buying Halloween candy in September? Don’t they know that it will be eaten and then more will have to be bought? But then maybe they want that so more can be sold?
And then there is the fireworks and fire crackers going till all hours of the night. And you would think that when a city says they are illegal and there is no place to buy them you would think it would be nice and quiet. But no they still find a way to get them and blow them up right next door to you and then others wonder why you have a heart attack.
And fortunately for me there are no kids coming to get candy from me because first there are not many that live here in my area and they are also a lot older so they will be going to parties instead and I live around the back so no one knows exactly where I live so I get to not deal with these people being dressed up.
And as far as Hannamas goes I just go through the motions and get the gifts and make a turkey or ham and everyone who is here gets at least one present but there are two others who will get maybe three or 4 gifts and one is always something they ask for.
And i am starting my gift buying early because of the shipping containers still being in the middle of the eaters because there are no people to unload the cargo.
So far I have found that amazon is the only one who promises when you get your stuff on time and when they say unless it’s by a seller just using the amazon platform. You get stuff amazon sells then the customer service is much better and they actually deal with t you the right way.

Onto something else…
Not much is happening today not sure what sports is worth watching or if it’s going to be just mindless TV all day. And my son said he will be here for breakfast so yesterday I took out the sausages just incase he would want them but knowing him he will want bacon and sausages and eggs and hash browns and then lunch is usually something like soup and then dinner will be my famous lasagna and hopefully there will be no left overs. And yesterday I did make that fake cherry pie but it didn’t turn out like it should but hubby said it was just the way he likes it a bit tart. I am not really too fond of berry pie except maybe for strawberry but that is about it and of course the old stand by apple pie with ice cream.
Even thinking about all these sweet things I just don’t want them and I know when I do eat them I don’t feel so good after so I just eat other things like real fruit.

Onto something else....
Well it’s time for me to start my morning while I still have some quiet time and can actually think a whole thought without being distracted.
