B.C. extends mask requirement in indoor public spaces
Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry has extended the mask mandate requiring all British Columbians age five and older, regardless of their vaccination status, to wear masks in indoor public spaces.

The previous order was set to expire Oct. 31, and has been extended indefinitely.

Henry said the mask requirement was extended “during this time of higher transmission of COVID-19 in communities.”

Masks are required in settings including malls, retail stores, grocery stores, coffee shops, on public transportation, restaurants, sports and fitness facilities.

Masks can be removed temporarily when eating or drinking at restaurants or when participating in a sport or fitness activity.

Federal vaccine passport now available to British Columbians
British Columbians can now download the federal vaccine passport to use for travel.

When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced earlier this month that Canada will have a standardized vaccine passport, B.C.’s proof-of-vaccine program was not immediately compatible with the federal system and needed to be tweaked first.

On Friday, the B.C. government announced the federal vaccine card can now be accessed the same way as the B.C. Vaccine Card through the Health Gateway website .

It can also be accessed through phone at 1-833-838-2323 by ordering a paper copy to be sent to you by mail, or through most Service B.C. offices (except Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey locations does not offer printed copies).

And now our passports are law.

I was really starting to think that this Covid thing was going to be a thing of the far back history but it looks like there are still idiots out there who won’t get vaccinated. But with the new rules in place there is going to be fewer reasons a person can use not to get vaccinated and the authorities will be determining that on a case by case basis. And because of these idiots there is going to be the same number of 5 to 11 year old’s who won’t be vaccinated because they are going to wait and see who gets sick and dies which puts the rest of us in a not good mood. I was so looking forward to not having to wear my mask everywhere I go but thanks to the high numbers of people getting sick it’s not going to happen.

Onto something else.....

I lost another 1.2 pounds this week so that brings my total to 35.6 pounds lost and I only have twenty one more pounds to go before I am at my first goal and I am thinking that could be before the holidays but for sure by the new year so I will be a much happier person come 2022. And then after another 20 pounds or so lost the hard work really starts and the maintaining will have to be a new way of life for me.
The one thing I have noticed is that all of my portions are getting less and less and there is just somethings I don’t want to even eat anymore like the bad carbs and sugar and salt and when I do eat them I wonder how I ever did like them.

Onto something else....
Tonight for dinner it’s going to be rib pork chops and noodles with tomatoes and frozen corn so it should be good and no left overs. And then hopefully my son will show up tomorrow for the whole day and then I will make him breakfast if he shows up early enough and then Lasagna for dinner. And maybe I will actually make that fake cherry pie since the crusts have been in the fridge for a while now.
And the rest of today is not much....More coffee and more thinking about stuff that really doesn’t matter.

Do have a great day.....
Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe, and Behave.
